To avoid damaging structure:
Welcome to our handmade jewellry collection! Ro22 Jewellry takes pride in creating delicate pieces that require gentle care. Please avoid tugging, yanking or aggressive pushing/pulling on your pieces to ensure the quality and structure of your pieces endure.
What to do if your clicker no longer clicks:
All hoops are tested for their quality before being sent out to customers to ensure all mechanisms latch and secure effectively. To maintain the integrity of your clicker hoops, gently press the hoop and latch together until you hear the soft click ensuring the earring is secure. If a clicker hoop becomes bent, simply re-bend your post to realign it with the clasp and your hoop should click once more.
Want to keep that extra sparkle?
Simple! Just polish up your pieces by lightly scrubbing your earrings with a toothbrush using dish soap and warm water or a paste made with baking soda and water! Scrub in small motions to remove any dirt build-up from your earrings and then give them a quick rinse with warm water to renew their shine!
Jewellry Maintenance and Care
Tarnish:
Ro22 Jewellry pieces are highly resistant to tarnish.
But despite being quality sterling silver or gold plated, all materials can be subject to oxidation over time. Again, no need to fear! Through my extensive experience, I have tested two methods myself that effectively remove tarnish and brighten up Ro22 Jewellry pieces that I will list below:
Disclaimer - other effective methods to remove tarnish can also be used, these are just the effective ones I have tested!
Method 1: Dish soap and warm water
Combine dish soap with warm water in a bowl until it is foamy. Place your jewellry in, and let it soak for approximately 30 minutes. After the time is up, remove your pieces one by one and gently scrub them with a toothbrush until the tarnish comes off. After freeing your pieces of tarnish, place them gently on a cloth or towel to air dry.
Method 2: Baking soda and water
In a bowl, place your jewellry in warm water to soak for a few minutes. In a separate bowl, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and add the appropriate amount of water to form a paste-like consistency. After your earrings have soaked in warm water, coat your toothbrush in your baking soda paste and lightly scrub all of your pieces until the tarnish comes off. After freeing your pieces of tarnish, place them gently rinse them off to remove any excess paste and put them on a cloth or towel to air dry.
