Growing up as an elite athlete, I've always been drawn to the pursuit of excellence and setting myself apart from others. But when COVID-19 threw a curveball and canceled the OUA hockey season, I found myself on a different path – exploring the world of ear piercings. Due to the pandemic cancellations, I did not have to wear my hockey helmet for various months. During this break, I started to view my ears as tiny canvases just waiting to be painted with earrings and gems.

 

Seeing each ear as a blank space just waiting to be adorned, I dove headfirst into the world of earrings, constantly searching for pieces that would really make a statement. But no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find anything that quite captured what I had in mind. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start creating my own jewellry, and in May 2023 Ro22 Jewellry was born.

 

After countless hours of trial and error searching for materials, measurements, sizing, and correcting my designs various times until I thought they were perfect, I eventually created these lightweight, elegant pieces that were unlike anything else out there. Through the love and passion I put into each unique piece, I decided they were something I had to share with the rest of the world. To me, each small work of art I create is a celebration of the beauty, joy, and uniqueness that we all possess.
